About Our Honoree
Ally Walstad
Director of Treasury, Marsh
The 2026 New York Cares Soiree honoree, Ally Walstad, embodies what it means to show up for New York City through tireless, hands-on service.
In 2025 alone, she volunteered more than 100 hours with New York Cares—supporting critical projects that helped prepare and distribute over 30,000 meals, deliver nearly 18,200 meals to neighbors facing food insecurity, and provide 2,600 pantry bags to families in need, while also serving seniors and children across the city.
A member of the Rising Leaders Council for three years and the current membership co-chair, Ally continues to lead and inspire a growing community of volunteers, making her a truly deserving honoree of the 2026 New York Cares Soiree.
